Rwanda Abakundakawa - March 2020
On March 24, 2020, Starbucks released two new Reserve coffee offerings. One was the Papua New Guinea, which I wrote about last week. The other was this Rwanda Abakundakawa coffee. I’m very thankful to the person who sent me a message with the details of these two releases!
In looking at the 2020 Rwanda Abakundakawa card, you’ll find two differences from last year’s version of the card. First, on the front of the card, the words “Small lot coffee” have been removed. On the backside of the card, in the description, the words read “…fifth year offering…” and not “fourth year offering…”.
Rwanda Abakundakawa was first released in 2016, as part of the Roastery Subscription offering, which no longer exists. (And I think they should bring back Reserve subscriptions, given all that has happened recently.)
The second offering of this coffee came in March 2017.
February 2018 marked the third offering of Rwanda Abakundakawa.
